DE-1077087

Another postcard received via Postcrossing, this one from Germany. This town is exactly like those Christmas Villages people usually put on display in their homes or in their stores, so cute.

DE-1004457

A postcard from Luneburger Heide, Germany. Yvonne mentioned that there's a very popular children's book in Germany called "Oh wie schon ist Panama" which translates into How Beautiful is Panama! I couldn't believe it, so I Googled it, and there's even a cartoon!

To sum it up, the story is about a bear who finds a box that smells like Bananas with the word "Panama" on it, and he decides to travel there to live, because it is the land of his dreams.

Seehund am Strand - Germany

I had no idea that there are so many seals in Germany as Christiane mentioned in this postcard. This seal is obviously looking for someone to scratch his belly.

Germany

Don't these look like Gingerbread houses? These were built in the 1600's and renovated back in 1967-68.

The rose stamp was a scratch-n-sniff, there need to be more stamps like this!

Hamburger Dom mit Kettenkarussell, Germany

Good Morning! I am awake and continuing to upload all my postcards for now. Procrastination can be such a pain sometimes, I bought a scanner a couple of weeks ago in hopes of starting this project at the time, but never got around to it until now. Don't procrastinate people!

This is from Hamburg, Germany's "Hamburger Dom" which is the biggest fair that is held 3 times a year here. Gracias Ingo!
